Dara ó Briain meets Stephen Hawking

In the year of Professor Stephen Hawking’s Oscar-winning biopic, a special documentary for BBC One, Dara ó Briain Meets Stephen Hawking will see Dara gain a unique and personal insight into the man behind the bright lights and the equations.
　　Dara, who himself has a degree in Mathematics and Theoretical Physics, has been fascinated by Professor Hawking since he was a teenager. Now, he has the opportunity to get to know his childhood hero, as he spends time with him at his home, his place of work and on his social engagements. Dara will also interview Professor Hawking’s two children, Lucy and Tim, as well as his colleagues, students and close friends, to find out more about the daily life of the world’s most famous living scientist – a man who is just as comfortable in a comedy sketch with David Walliams and Catherine Tate, as he is in the lecture theatres of The University of Cambridge.
