Making of ‘Stellet licht’

This doc peeks behind the scenes of Silent Light with an unobtrusive but curious eye, observing Reygadas, a visionary, though one open to the energy of others involved in the filmmaking process. Shots of form the set and interviews with actors reveal snippets of the secrets of the director’s work with amateurs. I don’t like the idea of actors, because I don’t like the idea of using the same person many times, claims the artist as we experience him ‘extracting’ excellent roles from people who share their exceptional freshness, experience and wisdom.
