The so-called "thieves in law", accustomed to living by "concepts" and sacredly reading the criminal laws, entered into a merciless struggle for power with "bitches", criminals who decided to end the criminal past and actively cooperated with the administration of the camps. Many representatives of the thieves' community, having taken up arms, defended their homeland on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War.
